    Farrier Specialty Courses

    Independent Study

KHS strongly believes that farrier education and professional development is a life-long endeavour, and we invite working farriers to contact us to arrange for individual coursework, designed to meet an individual’s specific needs.

We often arrange individual plans of study for farriers desiring to hone their skills for certification, to develop a fuller understanding of anatomy and/or mechanics, to learn more about specialty and/or therapeutic shoeing, and any number of other, specific needs.

Some examples of specialty courses we provide are:

    • AFA Pre Certification Clinic
    • AWCF Pre-Test Reviews
    • Anatomy Specialty Clinics

Feel free to contact us concerning your needs, and we will develop a program designed specifically for you.
